Who We Are
The SVA is a student-veteran organization at the Sanford School of Public Policy that fosters a supportive community for active duty, national guard, reserve, retired, and separated service members.
The SVA is led by graduate student-veterans, advised by veteran affiliated faculty, and provides programming, events, and services geared toward the SVA and veteran affiliated student bodies. The SVA is an inclusive organization and all Sanford students are welcome to join and participate in club activities.
The SVA operates in three concentric mission spaces: the SVA organization, Duke and Sanford Institutions, and Greater Society.
